Buyers can
be more confident purchasing from Paymate sellers who display the
TrustMark logo and can click on this logo to verify the registration
date of the seller with Paymate and that their TrustMark status is
approved.
Sellers can
qualify for the TrustMark by demonstrating a track record of sales via
Paymate and consistent delivery and accepting the Terms of the
TrustMark Program.

Paymate TrustMark Program Terms for Buyers

These
Terms are to be accepted by the Buyer as a condition of using the
Paymate service and acceptance of the Paymate Terms of Use.

Only
tangible goods are eligible for protection under the Paymate TrustMark
Program, i.e. intangible goods such as services, goods delivered
electronically and subscriptions are not eligible for protection.

The
Buyer must use a Paymate payment service for the purchase of goods from
the Seller, in a single payment for the entire purchase.

The
Buyer must retain a copy of the description of the nature and condition
of goods provided in writing at the point of sale, whether physical
store, auction listing or website page.

The
Buyer can claim a refund only on return of goods in original condition
at the Buyer's cost to the Seller, when the goods are substantially not
as described, with Paymate's reasonable assessment on the matter being
considered final; the Buyer can claim a full refund, less any Paymate
fees, if the goods are not received at all.
Paymate TrustMark Program Terms for Sellers

These Terms are to be accepted by the Seller as a pre-requisite condition of displaying the "Paymate TrustMark" logo.

Only
tangible goods are eligible for protection under the Paymate TrustMark
Program, i.e. intangible goods such as services, goods delivered
electronically and subscriptions are not eligible for protection.

The Seller must be registered with Paymate with a Standard, Economy, Professional, Premier or eBusiness Account.

The
Seller MUST meet at least criteria A with ONE of b, c or d criteria for
approval by Paymate, at Paymates' discretion , into the Paymate
TrustMark Program:

Continuous registration with Paymate over a minimum of 60 calendar days and receipt of at least 15 payments via Paymate; AND
-
An auction feedback rating of 97 or more points; OR
Two forms of identification provided to Paymate Client Services via
facsimile or mail valid passport, valid driver's license or utility
bill; OR
-
Australian Business Number and website URL.

The
Seller must provide a true and correct description of the nature and
condition of goods for sale via Paymate, in writing at the point of
sale, whether physical store, auction listing or website page.

The
Seller must confirm this item(s) description and final price, including
packaging, shipping, and other costs as agreed with the Buyer in an
email or Paymate eInvoice sent to the Buyer when requesting payment.

Goods must be shipped with insurance value of at least the amount of payment by the Buyer.

Goods
must be shipped to the Buyer's address as provided by Paymate,
regardless of any different address that may be provided by the Buyer,
unless explicitly authorised by Paymate in writing. Payments for goods
shipped to countries not included in Paymate List of Destination
Countries are not protected by this Program.

The
Seller must retain Proof of shipment in original form as provided by
the shipping service provider, e.g. Registration or Shipment Tracking
Number or Air Way Bill Number.

For
goods with a sale price of AUD 500.00 or more, the Seller must procure
a Proof of Receipt by the Buyer via a signature provided to the
Shipping Service Provider, as provided by courier companies such as
DHL.

The
Seller will remain liable for provision of goods as described under
their Terms of Sale and Paymate's Terms of Trade as accepted here.

The
Seller must refund the price paid by the Buyer (including the Seller's
shipping costs) if goods are substantially not as described, with
Paymate's reasonable assessment on the matter being considered final.

The
Seller must take all reasonable steps to avoid risky transactions,
especially when advised by Paymate of any risk factors identified,
prior to shipment of goods.
